We are proud to announce that Dr. Witali Aswolinskiy, AI Lead at PAICON, will speak at the European Symposium on Tumors with Microsatellite Instability (MSI) - Heidelberg 2025 Edition.
Witali will present during the Startup Sponsor Session on
September 18, 2025, from 02:55 - 03:05 PM, with a talk entitled:
“Uncertainty-Aware Prediction of Microsatellite Instability in
Colorectal Cancer from H&E Whole Slide Images”.
Advancing AI in Cancer Diagnostics
With a strong background in computational pathology, deep learning, and biomarker prediction, Witali has dedicated his career to advancing the role of AI in oncology. His research centers on developing AI models capable of predicting genetic biomarkers directly from histopathology slides, providing clinicians with more accurate and trustworthy insights. At PAICON, he leads efforts to transform diverse and complex cancer data into reliable, AI-driven diagnostics that support more precise and inclusive patient care worldwide.
At the MSI Symposium, he will highlight how uncertainty-aware AI methods can improve the detection of microsatellite instability (MSI) in colorectal cancer, demonstrating the potential of artificial intelligence to advance precision oncology.
A Key Platform for MSI Research
The MSI Symposium Heidelberg 2025 will be held on September 18, 2025, in Heidelberg, Germany.
Organized by Heidelberg University Hospital together with Sorbonne University (AP-HP), the symposium follows the success of the 2023 MSI Congress in Paris. It brings together clinicians, scientists, and innovators to discuss cutting-edge developments in MSI diagnostics and therapies across tumor types.
How to Join the Symposium
Registration for the European Symposium on Tumors with MSI is open until September 17, 2025.
