In his keynote, he shared PAICON’s journey of transforming complex, multimodal cancer data into meaningful clinical outcomes using artificial intelligence. He illustrated how PAICON addresses the challenges of implementing AI in regulated healthcare environments by ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with critical standards such as ISO 13485.
A central theme of his talk was the importance of data diversity as the foundation for trustworthy medical AI. He emphasized that moving beyond academic research to create real-world impact requires a comprehensive approach—not just technical excellence, but also expertise in product development, regulatory strategy, and seamless integration into healthcare systems.
